Pediatric Radiology, 20(8), 588-589. doi:10.1007/BF02129061  Notes: Case report of a family of eight, five of whom probably had SMAS.  Four daughters were diagnosed with SMAS and the father, who had similar symptoms, was deceased at the time of this report.  Three of the daughters successfully underwent conservative treatment; only one required surgery (duodenotomy with division of the ligament of treitz).
